Medgidia, Romania is a city located in Constanta County neighboring the Black Sea to the East. Bethlehem Church in Medgidia has emerged as a center for church planting in the Constanta District. God has graciously led them to the unreached villages and towns in the region Now Bethlehem Church is the mother church of 12 churches and since 2012 has embarked on a new faith journey, to plant 12 more churches in further unreached villages. The Community Center serves and witnesses to the community with it’s many functions such as: feeding, educating and clothing many street kids daily. It is equipped with a library shared by the city, a pharmacy, a Christian printing company, a community playground, a Coffee Shop which is currently under construction and housing for hundreds of International Missionaries and Christian leaders from around the world. Author/Pastor Vasilica serves as the South East Regional President of The Pentecostal Church of Romania as well as the National Board. In 2010 Pastor Vasi was awarded The European Christian Book of the Year with the book “Redeeming Our Memory” (Rascumpararea Memoriei). The book is a solid volume of true history, based on the study of thousands of documents, many interviews and research through the archives of the Communist regime. Pastor Vasilica unveils the ideology, institutions, church context, social context, and even the psychological mindset that made up the complex world of Romanian churches between 1945 and 1989.”
